Ingredients
- 2 TB butter or olive oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced mushrooms
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) jar chicken gravy
- 1 TB dry sherry
- 1 deli rotisserie chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 1 TB chopped parsley or 1 tsp. dried
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper

Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Cook onions & mushrooms in butter 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are tender & beginning to brown. Stir in sugar. Cook about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are very brown. Stir in gravy & sherry. Add chicken to skillet. Spoon sauce over chicken. Cook, covered, for 5 to 10 minutes, turning chicken halfway through. Sprinkle with parsley, salt, & pepper.
