Ingredients
- 3 cups canned or 2 lbs fresh cooked pumpkin
- 3 cups scalded milk or chicken broth
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Ginger (healthy shake)
- Cinnamon (healthy shake)
- 1 cup cubed ham
- 1 cup cream (if you have used the chicken broth)
- 2 cups cooked whole kernel corn

Preparation
Step 1
In your crock pot place and whisk together the pumpkin and milk or chicken broth (turn crock pot to LOW).
Knead together butter and flour.
Add brown sugar, salt, pepper, ginger, cinnamon, ham, cream (if you have used the chicken broth) and corn.
Let this simmer in the crock pot for up to two hours on low to let the flavors blend. It will also give you time to make some homemade corn bread to go with. Don't plan on leftovers on this one. Yummy!
