Ingredients
- 1/2 (12oz) bag Italian-style frozen mixed vegetables, cooked, drained
- 1 9" deep-dish frozen pie shell, drained
- 1 c shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 c heavy cream
- 1 t salt
- 1/2 t black pepper
- 1 t dried oregano

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425.
Arrange vegetables in pie shell.
Top with cheese.
In bowl, beat eggs; add cream, salt, pepper, oregano. Pour over cheese and vegetables.
Bake 15 min.
Reduce oven temp to 300. Bake tart for 30 min. more or until filling is set.
Option: Ham & Swiss Tart - sub 1/2c diced ham for vegetables. Use Swiss cheese instead of cheddar and 1t nutmeg instead of oregano. Pour into thawed frozen pie crust.
