Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground casserole
- 7-1/2 oz tomato sauce
- 1 garlic clove,minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp sugar
- 14-oz can tomatoes
- 3 cups broad egg noodles,cooked and drained
- 4 oz light cream cheese, cubes
- 1 cup sour cream (fat free is fine)
- 6 green onions
- 1 -1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat and drain. Add tomato sauce, garlic,salt,pepper,sugar and tomatoes. Cover and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees . Combine hot noodles with cubed cream cheese and green onions. In a greased 3 quart baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodle mixture and cheddar cheese alternatively. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
