Cinnamon French Toast
- 1 large egg
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 8 slices diagonally cut bread
Using a wire whisk, beat egg and whites until foamy. Add milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Beat well. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 200*.
Lightly spray a skillet with spray. Heat over medium heat. Dip 4 bread slices into egg mix, turning to coat.
Place bread slices in skillet. Cook until golden brown. Place cooked slices on plate. Keep warm in oven. Cook remaining slices.
Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon and sugar. Top with syrup.
