Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1 chicken or selected chicken pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 small can of pineapple tidbitd
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tsp. salt

Step 1
Wash and dip chicken in beaten eggs then coat with the cornstarch & garlic salt mixture. Brown coated chicken in vegetable oil. While chicken is browning, make the sauce in a sauce pan combine all the sauce ingredients and bring to a boil stirring to de-solve the sugar. Place chicken in a 9 X 13 pan drain the pineapple and spread over the chicken. Cover with sauce.
Bake at 375 deg. for 40 minutes, turn chicken after 20 minutes of baking.
serve over rice.
