Cajun corn pups

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg corn muffin mix
  • 1/3 cup cold beer
  • 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1 1/4 tsp creole seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 lb andouille sausage (1 inch slices)
  • Jar creole mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Mix muffin mix, beer, egg, creole seasoning & garlic powder. Dip sausage in batter. Pour vegetable oil in dutch oven. When oil is hot fry sausages for 2 mins each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with creole mustard.
