Ingredients
- 1-1/2 c. flour
- 1-1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1-1/4 c. buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c half & half
- 2 tab melted butter
- 4 sliced scallions
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 sm. can creamed corn

Preparation
Step 1
Mix together: flour, cornmeal, baking powder and soda, salt & sugar.
Whisk egg into buttermilk and half & half. Add melted butter. Whisk again.
Whisk wet and dry ingredients together until smooth.
Add onions and corn. Stir.
Melt butter (or use olive oil) in hot skillets.
Brown on one side -- flip- cook through.
Serve with dollop of sour cream.
