- Sweet Dough
- > 1 cup milk, scalded
- > 1/2 cup sugar
- > 1 tsp salt
- > 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- > 1/4 cup warm water
- > 1 pkg yeast, active dry or compressed
- > 4 cups unsifted flour
- Frosting:
- 11 oz. cream cheese
- 6 oz. butter
- 3 C. powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Step 1
Directions:
> 1. Scald milke; stir in sugar, salt & butter; cool to lukewarm
>
> 2. Measure warm water into warm bowl; sprinkle or crumble in yeast. Stir
> until dissolved
> 3. Stir in lukewarm milk mixture, slightly beaten egg & 2 cups flour;
> beat until smooth
> 4. Stir in remaining flour to make stiff batter
> 5. Cover tightly with greased wax paper and plastic wrap
> 6. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. The dough may be kept for 3 days
To make cinnamon rolls:
> Roll dough to 15"x9" spread completely with SOFT butter/margarine.
> Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture: 1/2 cup sugar & 2tsp cinnamon.
> Roll dough TIGHTLY begininning at wide side. Cut into 1-1.5" slices. Let
> rise in warm place until double in size(I usually do over night). Heat
> over to 375^ bake 25-30 min.
