Ingredients
- 4 squares (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
- 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
- 2/3 cup boiling water
- 1 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 6 Tablespoons light Karo syrup

Step 1
Stir chocolate and butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth. Add boiling water and stir until blended. Stir in sugar and corn syrup. Increase heat to medium-high and stir until mixture starts to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 9 minutes or until slightly reduced and thickened. Serve hot.
Refrigerate up to 1 month.
