Pie-Banana Cream Pie-Linda Zullinger

Ingredients

  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 TBsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 C flour
  • 2 C scalded milk
  • 2 eggs well beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Combine butter, sugar, salt, flour, and eggs. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Cook over in double boiler until thick and smooth. Add flavoring-pour into baked pastry shell. Before doing this slice bananas over bottom of shell. Cover with cream filling. Sprinkle generously w coconut and bake until light brown. Cool and serve.
