PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

• 3/4 peanut butter
• 1/2 cup crisco shortening
• 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
• 3 T milk
• 1 T vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1 3/4 cups flour
• 3/4 t salt
• 3/4 t baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

heat oven to 375'

combine peant butter crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in lg. bowl. Beat at med speed until well blended. Add egg.

Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix until well blended.

Drop by teaspoons 2 in apart. Flatten with tines of fork.

Bake at 375' for 7 to 8 minutes until set or just beginning to brown.Cool 2 min. on cookie sheet then transfer to foil to finish cooling.
