- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tbs instant minced onion
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp parsley flakes
Preheat oven to 400F.
Mix all ingredients together, Shape into mini meatballs.
Cook 15-20 minutes or until done.
For Greek Meatballs:
Omit Worcestershire and pepper.
Add 1 tbs lemon juice,
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Serve with Lemon Sauce:
In a small sauce pan melt 1/4 cup butter, in 1/4 cup lemon juice. Makes 1/2 cup.
For Italian Meatballs:
Omit salt, worcestershire, and pepper.
Add 1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp crushed anisw seed
1/2 tsp celery salt
Serve with Tomato Sauce:
Cook and stir 2 tbs each chopped onion and green pepper in 1 tbs butter until onion is tender.
Stir in 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp pepper. Makes 1 cup.
For Oriental Meatballs:
Omit worsestershire and pepper. Add 1 tbs soy sauce and 1/2 tsp ginger. Serve with Soy Sauce.
