Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot cooked grits
  • 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups hot milk
  • 1 stick soft butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated cheese (Cheddar and Monteray Jack)
  • 2 pounds hot bulk sausage(cooked and drained)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together first 6 ingredients.
Layer sausage, grits mixture, top with cheese.
Bake 45 minutes at 325F.
(Center should not be jiggly).
