Ellen's Oatmeal Candy Cookies

Growing up this was my all time favorite. I remember comeing home from school and haveing these fresh made. Mom knew I liked them best when they were warm.

Ingredients

• 2 Cups Sugar
• 1 Tbls Cocoa
• 1/2 Cup Milk
• 1/2 Cup Margarine
• 1 Cup Peanut Butter
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• 4 cups Quick Oats

Preparation

Step 1

Buttered or Pam'd 9x13 dishware.

In a large mixing bowl place your 4 cups of quick oats. Best to have this ready ahead of time.

Combine Top 4 Ingredients in medium size sause pan. Stir occasionaly. When mixture is in full rapid boil let boil for 1 minute without stirring.
Remove from heat and add.
Peanut butter and vanilla stir till combined.

Pour over bowl of quick oats and mix.

Then spread out in 9x13 pan.
