Ingredients

    c. white bread, cubed (appr. 1 loaf)

  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened

  • ¼

    c. butter

  • ½

    tsp. vanilla

  • ½

    c. maple syrup

  • 8

    eggs

  • c. cream

  • c. milk

  • powdered sugar

  • 6

    T. melted butter

Directions

Place bread cubes in a greased 9x13 pan. Mix cream cheese, 1/4 c. butter, vanilla, and syrup until fluffy. Add eggs. Then add milk and cream. Pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Take out of fridge 30 minutes prior to baking. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until set, fork comes out clean. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Can serve with additional maple syrup or jam.
