- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 T unsalted butter
- 2 T water
- 1 cup pecan halves

Step 1
in heavy saucepan, combine sugars, cream, butter and water. place over med high heat and stir constantly til softball stage. 238-240*. add pecans..and remove from heat.. continue to stir candy vigorously with wooden spoon til candy cools and pecans remain suspended in candy. about 2 min... spoon praline onto parchement papper or aluminum lined sheet pan.. cool completely
