Ingredients
- 8 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes (about 10 cups)
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

Step 1
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Mash apples. Cover and cook on low 6 more hours or until mixture is deep brown and a spreading consistency. Cool. Cover and chill 8 hours. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.
