Ingredients

  • 4 lbs fresh jalepeno peppers sliced
  • 2 lbs onions diced
  • 3 cups vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 to 8 cups sugar (depends on you, I like it sweet)
  • 2 Tbs mustard seed
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp celery seed
  • 1 Tbs garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger

Preparation

Step 1

Slice Jalapenos into thin slices and dice onions
Place in pan with water and vinegar,bring to a boil, Reduce heat & simmer about 10 min or until tender. Add the sugar and spices bring soft boil to completly disolve sugar; 10 minutes =/-.
Place boiling mixture into jars,leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
Adjust caps.
Place in water bath for 10 minutes
