Ingredients

  • 1 c margarine
  • 1 c Crisco shortening
  • 3 c sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c sifted flour
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t baking soda
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 1 t lemon extract

Preparation

Step 1

Cream margarine, Crisco & sugar until light.

Add eggs, one at a time & beat after each egg.

Sift dry ingredients together & add alternately with sour cream to first mixture.

Add extracts & beat until smooth.

Pour batter into greased & lined pans.

Bake at 350 for 1 hr. 20 min.

(2 large loaf pans or 3 small bread pans)
