Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. chocolate wafer crumbs
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 butter, softened
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 lg. eggs
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1/2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. chopped, unsalted peanuts
- 2 (1oz.) squares semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled
- Peanut Butter Sauce
- Frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Toasted, chopped peanuts

Preparation
Step 1
Combine chocolate wafer crumbs and 1/3 c. melted butter; press mixture firmly on bottom and up sides of a 9" pieplate. Bake at 350 for 6 - 8 minutes.
Beat 1/2 c. butter at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating mixture until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in melted chocolate chips and vanilla. Add flour, beating at low speed just until blended. Stir in 3/4 c. peanuts.
Pour chocolate mixture into prepared crust. Bake at 350 for 28 minutes, let cool on a wire rack.
To serve, slice pic, and place 1 slice on prepared plate. Top with Peanut Butter Sauce, whipped topping, and additional chopped peanuts.
