If desired, use cranberry liqueur in place of the cranberry juice, eliminate the sugar and substitute red wine for the white wine.

- 1 (28-ounce) bottle white table wine
- 4 cups cranberry juice
- 8 whole cloves
- 1 piece fresh ginger, about 1-inch, peeled
- 2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar

Step 1
The night before you plan to serve this glogg, combine the wine, cranberry juice, cloves, ginger and cinnamon sticks. Before serving, stir in the sugar to taste and heat to serving temperature - just below simmering. Serve warm.
