Microwave 7 Minute Frosting - #

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup light Karo Syrup
• 2 Tbsp. water
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 3 egg whites at room temperature
• To make brown sugar frosting for spice cake or chocolate cake, substitute packed 1/2 cup brown sugar for white granulated sugar.

Preparation

Step 1

Microwave sugar syrup and water 3 1/2 minutes on high. While cooking, beat egg whites until stiff. Pour syrup slowly into egg whites. Beat till stiff, adding 1 tsp. vanilla.
