Ingredients
- Icing:
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 12 oz. packages frozen coconut, thawed

Preparation
Step 1
Make yellow cake as directed on box. Pour into 2 9 inch pans. When cool, split each layer, making 4 layers.
Icing:
Mix sour cream, sugar and thawed coconut together and let sit overnight in refrigerator.
Ice between layers and top of cake. Do not ice sides.
Let sit in sealed cake container for 4 or 5 days in refrigerator. Icing will be slightly liquid but will be absorbed by cake.
