Ingredients
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 T. Butter
- 2 T. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
- 1/3 c. whipping cream
- 1 lg. egg, slightly beaten
- 2 t. vanilla extract

Preparation
Step 1
Combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup in a small heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
Stir in peanut butter and whipping cream, and cook 2 minutes. Gradually add one-fourth of hot mixture to egg, stirring constantly. Add to remaining hot mixture. Cook, stirring constantly 1 minute, or until mixture reaches 160. Remove from heat, and add vanilla. Let cool.
