Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 450 degrees F and line a baking sheet with foil. Drain and rinse one can low-sodium chickpeas. Mix chickpeas with 1 tablespoon olive oil and cayenne pepper to taste and spread on baking sheet. Roast until brown and crunchy, about 30 minutes. Halfway through, shake pan to be sure chickpeas cook evenly.
