Zesty Sausage Bake

Ingredients

• 1 lb Jimmy Dean Sausage (regular or extra mild)
• 3/4 c. chopped onion
• 3/4 chopped celery
• 2 cans (8oz. each) tomato sauce
• 1/4 tsp.salt
• 1 can (17 oz) whole Kernal corn,drained
• 2 c. (8 oz) shredded Monterry Jack Cheese (or Mozzarella)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F.Crumble sausage into a large skillet and cook with onion and celery until sausage is partially browned;drain thoroughly.Stir in tomato sauce and seasonings.Simmer 5 to 10 minutes until sausage is fully browned.Spoon half of mixture into greased 2-quart baking dish.Layer on half of the corn and cheese.Repeat with remaining mixture,corn and cheese.Bake for 25 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
