Christmas Morning Hashbrown Casserole

Easy recipe for morning breakfast. This is the basic which you can make into a variety of ways, ie - add sausage, onion, flavored hash browns. Enjoy!!

- 1 (2 lb) package frozen hash browns, thawed
- 9 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 12 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Grease a 2 quart baking dish.
3. Place the hash browns in the bottom of the baking dish.
4. Mix eggs, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
4. Pour over the has browns.
5. Layer the cheese over the egg and hash browns.
6. Cover with aluminum foil.
7. Bake for 1 hour. Remove cover; return casserole to the oven and bake for 5-10 minutes to brown top.
8. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
