Old Fashioned Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups sifted flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 cup margarine
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 tbs milk
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together.
Cream margarin. Gradually add sugar, cream, then gradually stir in egg, cream. Gradually stir in milk, cream. and vanilla, cream.

Gradually add dry ingredients. Mix well. Chill if necessary. Roll in to 3rds.

Make 1/8 inch thick cookies.

Bake 5 to 8 minutes at 400 degree on ungreased cookie sheet.
