- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp grated orange zest (rind)
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- Dash salt
- 2 cups fresh huckleberries (or frozen berries, thawed)

Step 1
Combine sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan. Stir in remaining ingredients; cook and stir over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes or in microwave oven, stirring after each minute, until thickened.
Serve on pancakes, waffles, blintzes, ice cream, frozen yogurt, puddings, pound or angel food cake.
