Ingredients
- Serves 10
- Prep time: 10 minutes
- Cook time: 50-60 minutes
- 4 cups of a mixture of Granny Smith, Golden Delicious and
- Mcintosh apples, sliced and chopped (about 7 medium apples)
- Juice of half a lemon (3 Tablespoons)
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 13/4 cups flour
- 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 112cups packed brown sugar
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 cup crushed corn flakes
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/8 cup maple syrup

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place apple pieces in an 8- x 11-inch glass baking dish and drizzle with lemon juice.
In medium mixing bowl, combine white sugar, 1 cup flour an dspices. Mix into apples.
In a seperate mixing bowl combine brown sugar, ~ cup flour, oats,crushed corn flakes, butte.r and maple syrup until crumbly. Pour over
apples in baking dish.
Bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes or until apples are tender and top is browned.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
