Ingredients

  • 1/2

    cup of Oleo (unsalted butter)

  • 1 1/2

    cup of sugar

  • 2

    beaten eggs

  • 1

    teaspoon of vanilla

  • 2

    tablespoons of milk

  • 4

    cups of flour (halved)

Directions

Cream using a stand-up kitchen aid Mixer: Butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add 2 cups of sifted flour and 1 tablespoon of milk. Mix thoroughly. Add the remaining 2 cups of flour and 1 tablespoon of milk. Roll out THIN and cut out using desired cookie cutters. Bake in a pre-heated oven of 325 - 350 degrees about 8 - 10 minutes. Make sure not to brown the edges of the cookies. Prepare for placement on a well greased cookie sheet. Using a spatula (dusted with flour) gently peel the cookie shape from the dough and place on the cookie sheet. Remove from cookie sheet using a spatula and place on news paper to set overnight. Cookies will be ready for decorating.
