Ingredients
- Dipping sauce:
- 4 large King Trumpet (eryngii) mushrooms
- flour
- bread crumbs
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- lemon
- mayo
- your favorite sauce/spice or condiment...Sam just added tarragon

Preparation
Step 1
Tear mushrooms in half lengthwise with fingers. Wrap each piece of mushroom with bacon. In 3 steps, flour, egg wash and bread crumb batter the bacon wrapped mushroom pieces. Deep fry at 340 degrees in a pan. Set on paper towels to cool and drain.
For dipping sauce add some lemon juice to mayo and spice up any way you like.
