Ingredients
- 4 Pounds lean ground beef
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 3-4 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 46 oz can tomato juice

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat pot on medium heat for 2 minutes. Saute meat one pound at a time with garlic until redness in meat disappears. Push browned meat to side of pot before adding more. When all meat is browned, add cumin, chile powder, flour, salt and pepper. Stir to combine ingredients, then add tomato juice and stir. Cook in crock pot on medium setting about 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with hot corn bread.
If desired, when meat is done cooking, saute one large onion in butter, add canned green chiles, then add 3 cans (about 6 cups) beans. Kidney beans, pinto beans and white beans or any other combination will work well. Stir beans into meat. Heat and Serve with Corn Bread
