Ingredients
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup lard runny but not hot
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups flour

Step 1
Beat sugar and eggs together. Add buttermilk. Beat a little. Add lard and mix. Add flour until it is mixed. Bake at 425 degrees or 400 degrees on middle rack. Bake about 10 minutes.
