Ingredients

  • 1 C. soft shortening
  • 1 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 t. cream of tartar
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1/2 t. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Mix dry ingredients. Chill dough thoroughly. Form into small balls & roll in mixture of 3 T. sugar and 3 t. cinnamon. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2" apart. Bake in 400 degree oven 8 to 10 mins. or until lightly browned.
