Ingredients
- VARIATIONS:
- 1 refrigerated crust for a 9" pie
- 12 links fully cooked Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 jalapenos, seeded and chopped
- 1 cup real egg product
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tea. cumin
- 1/4 tea. salt
- 1/8 tea. pepper
- 1 cup (4 oz) shredded Mexican cheese blend
- Cheddar: substitute 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper for the jalapenos. Omit the cumin. Substitute shredded cheddar for the Mexican cheese blend.
- Mediterranean: Substitute 1 cup chopped mushrooms for the jalapenos. Omit the cumin. Add 1/2 cup chopped roasted red peppers or sun-dried tomatoes and 1 tea. dried basil. Substitute shredded Italian cheese blend for the Mexican cheese blend.

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Place crust in a ungreased 9" glass pie plate.
Coarsely chop sausage. Cook and stir sausage, onion and jalapenos in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the vegetables are tender. Remove from the heat.
In a large bowl, beat egg product, milk, cumin, salt and pepper until blended. Stir in the sausage mixture and cheese. Pour into the pie crust.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the eggs are set.
Makes 8 servings.
