Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 5 cups water
- 16 oz canned tomatoes, chopped
- 2 carrots, peeled, sliced
- 2 onions, diced
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/3 cup pearl barley
- 1/4 cup catsup
- 1 Tbsp beef-flavor instant bouillon
- 2 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 tsp crushed dried basil
- 1 bay leaf

Preparation
Step 1
In dutch oven, brown ground beef. Drain. Add all other ingredients. Simmer 1 hour or until vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf before serving.
