  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening, butter, sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Roll into balls. Roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 400° for 6-7 minutes or until edges are light brown.
