Ingredients
- 2 tsp cooking oil
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/3 cup + 3 tbsp milk
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup cooked and cubed carrots
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 lbs potatoes, peeled, cut up for mash potatoes

- 3 tbsp hard margarine or butter
- 2 tbsp paprika

Step 1
1. Heat cookinfg oil on a large frying pan on medium. Add ground beef and onion. Scramble-fry for about 10 min. until beef is no longer pink. Drain.
2. Add flour, salt and pepper. Stir well. Slowly add 1/3 cup of milk, stirring constantly. Heat and stir for about 2 min until boiling and thickened. Add peas, carrots, ketchup and W sauce. Stir. Spread evenly in greased 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) pan. Set asde.
3. Cook potatoes in water in a large saucepan until tender. Drain. Add 3 tbps of milk, 1 tbsp of margarine and salt with pepper. Mash. Spread on top of beef mixture.
4. Melt 2 tbsp of margarine and pour over the potatoes and make wave patterns on the top. Sprinkle paprika over the margarine. Bake, uncovered, in 350 degrees oven for about 30 min until heated through and mashed potatoes are golden.
