Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) box pound cake mix
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pound box powdered sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Combine cake mix, butter, and 2 eggs. Stir until well blended. Beat 1 minute.
Spread in 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan.
Beat cream cheese with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Bead in 2 eggs and vanilla.
Set aside 1/2 cup powdered sugar and beat in remaining sugar with cream cheese mixture. Pour over cake batter, and sprinkle with nuts (if using).
Bake at 350F for 35-45 minutes. Sprinkle remaining sugar on cake.
