Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 cup PACE picante sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1/2 cup very finely crushed tortilla chips or corn
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar or monterey jack cheese
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped

Step 1
Combine meat, 3/4 cup of the picante sauce, chips, onion, egg, cumin and salt; mix well. Shape to form 6 oval-shaped loaves; place on rack of broiler pan or on rack in large shallow baking pan. Bake in preheated oven at 375°E about 25 minutes or to desired doneness. Spoon remaining picante sauce over meat loaves; sprinkle with cheese. Serve with additional picante sauce. Makes 6 servings.
