FROSTING - Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
- 6 T butter or margarine, softened
- 2 oz. semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1 T water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- dash salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
In a small mixer bowl at low speed beat butter or margarine, chocolate, water, vanilla and salt until blended. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until well blended. Add more water for a softer frosting, more powdered sugar for a firmer frosting.
Use to frost a single layer cake of your choice.
