Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 cup hot water

Preparation
Step 1
1. Melt and cool butter. Add sugar and egg, and beat well.
2. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and ginger.
3. In a measuring cup, combine molasses, honey and hot water.
4. Alternate adding liquid and dry mixtures to butter mixture.
5. Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
