Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 1/4 cups raisins
- 6 + level large spoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 uncooked pie crusts

Step 1
Boil water and raisins in order for raisins to "plump up." Mix cornstarch in a small bowl with a little water and stir. Once smooth, add to pan. Add brown sugar and vanilla to mixture.
After sauce thickens, simmer for a few minutes, and then let mixture stand.
Place mixture in uncooked pie crust. Cover with top crust and flute edges. Cover edges with foil.
Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees and 10-15 minutes at 400 degrees. Approximately 45 minutes total.
Cool and refrigerate.
