Ingredients

    cup sugar

  • 1/2

    cup butter

  • 4

    beaten eggs

  • 1

    cup flour

  • 12

    teaspoons salt

  • 1

    teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1

    16-ounce can Hershey's chocolate syrup

  • Mint layer

  • 2

    cups confectioners' sugar

  • 3

    tablespoons green creme de menthe

  • 1/2

    cup butter softened

  • Glaze

  • 12

    ounces chocolate chips

  • 1/2

    cup butter

Directions

CAKE Cream sugar and butter; work eggs into the mixture. Add flour, salt, vanilla and syrup to mixture and stir well until smooth mixture is achieved. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a greased 9 X 13 pan. MINT LAYER Combine all 3 ingredients in a bowl; mix and cream well. Spread evenly on cake. GLAZE Combine chocolate and butter; melt in microwave. Allow to cool and pour over top of mint layer. Refrigerate bars. Before glaze has set completely, cut into 3/4 inch squares. Store in refrigerator.
