Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons minced onion
- 3 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 3 tablepoon flour
- salt
- 3 cups milk
- 3 cups chicken broth or 3 chicken bouillob cubes
- dissolved in 3 cups boiling water
- 1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli,slightly
- thawed
- 2 cups thinly sliced carrots
- pepper

Preparation
Step 1
In large saucepan saute onion in butter
until tender.With whick stir in flour and 101/2 teaspoons salt;gradually add milk,stirring constantly,and bring to boil.Add broth,broccoli and carrots.Cook over low heat (do not boil),stirring occasionally,about 25 miinutes,or until carrots are tender and flavors blended.Add pepper and salt to taste.Serve hot.
