Ingredients
- 1/2 CUP Walnuts,(finely chopped) 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1-1/2 cup Sugar (I use a little less)
- 1/2 cup Margarine (1 stick) 2 lge Eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose Flour 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 8 oz. Sour Cream (1 cup)

Preparation
Step 1
In small bowl, combine Nuts, Cinnamon and 1/2 cup Sugar: set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 deg.
Grease 9" tube pan with removable sides.
In large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat Margarine & remaining Sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs, 1 at a time.
Add remaining ingredients and beat at low speed until well blended, and scraping sides of bowl.
Then beat 3 more mins. at medium speed.
Spread half of the Batter in pan: sprinkle with half of Nut mixture. Spread on remaining Batter and sprinkle with remaining Nut mixture.
Bake 60 to 65 mins. (Cake will pull away from sides)
Cool on rack 10 mins. then remove side of pan. S
erve warm or cool completely on rack. 12 servings
Apple Sour-cream Coffee Cake; Prepare as above, spread half of batter in pan; top with 1/3 of nut mixture, then put on 1 lge. apple thinly sliced and 1/3 of nut mixture. Spread with remaining batter and then remaining nut mixture.
Bake 65 to 70 mins. Cool as above.
