Jack Crutchfield's Pecan Pie

Ingredients

• 3 eggs slightly beaten
• 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
• 1/4 cup mild flavored molasses
• 1 cup dark brown sugar
• 2 T melted butter
• 1 1/2 t vanilla
• 1 1/2 c whole pecan halves
• 1 1/2 broken pecan pieces
• 1 unbaked pie crust

Preparation

Step 1

1. preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. to the lighten beaten eggs, add all ingredients except whole pecans. mix lightly and pour mixture into pie shell.

3. spread whole pecans over top.

4. bake 50-55 minutes till knife comes out clean.
