Ingredients
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 cups Brown Sugar
- 2 cups Lard or Vegetable Shortening
- 4 Eggs
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla
- 4 cups All-Purpose Flour (I always use Unbleached Flour.)
- 2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1-1/2 cups Oatmeal (uncooked)
- 4 cups Corn Flakes
- 1 cup Shredded Coconut
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Almond Slices

Preparation
Step 1
Mix Sugars and Lard/Shortening together until well blended. Add Eggs, Vanilla, and mix untill flufffy.
Add Flour, Salt, Baking Soda, Oatmeal and Cornflakes, mix well.
Now comes the fun part, add (my version) Shredded Coconut, Almond Slices and Chocolate Chips. Again you can omit or add whatever your heart desires.
I use an ice-cream scoop to place cookie dough onto ‘ungreased’ cookie sheet, or you can drop by a spoon. Do not flatten balls; they will flatten as they bake.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven on an ungreased baking sheet; 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
When cool, store in a sealed container or cookie jar.
